Growing Wide and Without PIctures

I know, blogs are boring without pictures, but I haven’t figured out a “system” yet. We only have two days left here… and we return to reality. And our reality is… anticipation – it’s hard to talk about something that is uncertain and not there yet. So we pretend it’s not there and don’t talk about it too much. But our baby shower is approaching and I’m really excited.

I’m carrying really wide. The other day, a Hawaiian woman asked me if I was having a girl. I said yes! And she said, I carried just like you. What does this mean… well, for starters, my bra band width used to be a 34. During pregnancy, you bra band width should increase by one size and your bra cup size by one cup. Me, the cup size has stayed the same, but my band width has increased by two sizes already! I am growing sideways! Instead of a basketball belly, my whole torso is growing!! It’s quite unattractive if you ask me… But Baby A seems to be healthy and kicking a lot, so I’m reassured.
